Week One vs Strike Force
DAWGZ OPEN THE SEASON 1-0
With only one practice the Dawgz started out slow giving up a touchdown to the SF in their opening drive. Then the hunt was on shutting down SF offense and the Dawgz went on a 20pt. run to win 20-6 in the opener.
Week Two vs Lonestars Red
DAWGZ SNEAK BY TO GO 2-0
Dawgz started out fast going up 16-0 at the half but never count the Lonestars Red out. As the comeback was on, the Lonestars Red pushing the Dawgz defense to 13-0 run making it 16-13 with a minute to go. In the final minutes QB-MadMax took the Dawgz downfield to score the end the game touchdown...22-13. Close one!
Week Three vs Desperados
DAWGZ CLEAN UP MISTAKES
3-0
Wild Dawgz started fast scoring on its opening play and never looked back beating the Desperados 32-6. Once again the Dawgz defense kicked into gear with 6 int.
Week Four vs Armadillos
QB, MADMAX IS IN A ZONE. DAWGZ 4-0
MadMax finds his stride. Wasting no time MadMax launches a 30 yard TD to B'More and never looked back 32-0. While the defense put up a shut out.
Week Five vs Ducks
DAWGZ FALL SHORT IN THE RAIN 4-1
In the battle of the undefeated the Dawgz miss their mark time and time again in the first half as the Ducks capitalize and went up 14-0. The Dawgz got a spark from a physical int. from
CB-Juice Allen waking the Dawgz up but time ran short Dawgz lose 22-6.
Week Six vs Sharks
DAWGZ BACK ON THE HUNT
5-1
What lost? Dawgz move fast in week 6 putting up 24 pts before halftime. Highlight of the second half is Wild Dawgz OL/DL Big Ben playing QB and driving the Dawgz to a touchdown hitting LB Thomas Watters to close the game out 34-6. Once again Wild Dawgz Defense comes up with 5 int. lead by B'More & CC.
Week Seven vs Lonestars Blue
THE BATTLE FOR SECOND PLACE
The Wild Dawgz and Lonestar Blue both went into the game with a 5-1 record and battling for second place. The game started touchdown for touchdown 16-16, then the Dawgz defense set the tone and the offense once again led by MADMAX & B'MORE push the needle to 36-16. Highlight of game a head top catch in the back of the endzone by JMC "Jaxson".
Week Eight vs Strike Force
DAWGZ DROP 44PTS. IN SHOOT-OUT
The last regular season vs Strike Force turns into a shootout. Strike Force came in hot scoring 31pts. but MadMax stuck again drive after drive and dropping 44pts. Dawgz finish season 7-1 headed into playoffs.
RD1 Playoffs vs Allen Sharks
SHARKS GET JUICED IN ROUND ONE
A hot Tuesday night, playoffs one round, Sharks scored first but Juice Allen and the Dawgz Defense wasn't having it. Only giving up 13pts. the defense got into HUNT MODE. While the offense dropped 33pts to move on to the semi-finals on Saturday.
Semi-Finals vs Lonestar Blue
THE FIRST 5 MINUTES AND THEN? THE PACK HUNTS.
The first 5 minutes of the semi-finals game was score for score with both teams finding the endzone quick. MadMax, Snow, Deion, Jaxson, Big Ben and B'More had seen enough and the route was on, Dawgz got HOT on a HOT day finishing the game 42-12..on to the Championship Game.
Championship vs Fighting Ducks
DAWGZ FALL FLAT AFTER COSTLY TURNOVERS
Oh it was HOT! Both teams feeling the Heat and right out the gate both teams score with the Ducks taking a 7-6 lead. Then the Dawgz begin to beat themselves with costly turnovers and the Ducks capitalized to win the Championship 33-6...Dawgz finish season 10-2 and runner-ups.
